Do you groom big dogs?

Yes! We can handle dogs of all shapes and sizes. Please just head over to our Ready to Book? section and tell us about your furry friend!


My dog has allergies - can you accomodate them?

Of course! The shampoos and conditioners we use are soap free, meaning they shouldn’t affect our more sensitive skinned friends. If you require a special shampoo, or maybe your vet has prescribed you with something special, we can also work around this. As long as you can provide the shampoo, we’re happy to be flexible. Our new customer form will ask about allergies and needs - so just make sure these are listed so we can make sure we’re giving your pet the care it needs.

For food allergies, we do give treats during grooms. Please let us know if your dog has food allergies or if you would prefer no treats!


Can you wash my dog when I’m not home?

Our priority is offering a service that’s convenient for you, at the times you need it. We know life can get really busy, and not everyone is available on standard 9am-5pm grooming hours. That’s why we’re open on evenings and weekends so we can find the time that best suits you. However, we will need someone home for collection and drop off. Otherwise who would get to enjoy that freshly pampered smile?


My dog does not like groomers. Will you still groom them?

We get it - not all dogs are water lovers. And sometimes grooming can be really stressful for our more anxious friends. We assess dogs on a case by case basis, after all, while they may have been difficult for other groomers, they may appreciate our laid back, friendly style (and lots of cuddles). We would like to have some notice if your dog isn’t so friendly, and we can discuss what their needs might be during pick up. In the event we aren’t able to complete a groom, you won’t be charged.

We also prioritise dog’s health and comfort over aesthetics. If your dog is very uncomfortable or anxious then we will not press to do things they aren’t comfortable with (ie nail trims, ear cleaning, our high velocity dryer etc). If your dog is unable to be groomed then we can discuss rebooking after consulting a vet for anxiety reducing medication.
